Depression, Anxiety, and Pain Catastrophizing in Migraine Patients

Aim: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the relationship between anxiety, depression, and pain catastrophizing in individuals with without migraine. Method: Data of study was collected using socio-demographic data form, Beck Depression Scale (BDI), Anxiety (BAI), Pain Catastrophizing (PCS), Migraine Disability Assessment (MIDAS), Visual Analogue (VAS). Results: Of 183 patients, 80 were migraine patients 103 control group. The BDI, BAI, PCS scores found be higher compared have "moderate" "mild" disability. There a positive correlation PCS, MIDAS, VAS patients. According total BDI BAI score subscales "helplessness", " magnification", "rumination" depression or anxiety. Conclusions: It that had their level increased increasing anxiety severity.
